rent our main room
The Fly Arts Center offers rentals of our building's main room, "McGrew Hall, for private events, including parties, receptions, meetings and weddings. We do not allow any type of rentals for public and/or ticketed events. Only our main room is available for rent. The theatre, art gallery, museum, and other areas are not available.
Rental dates are limited and should be booked well in advance, as available dates fill up quickly. All rentals must be approved by our rental coordinator prior to booking. For inquiries about date availability and other booking questions, please contact Jody Barnes-Turner.

What’s included in your rental?
Folding tables (20 round 60" and 25 rectangular 6’) and chairs
(250) are provided as a part of your rental agreement.
NOT included are linens, dishes, glassware, flatware or
serving pieces. Renter must supply their own trash bags
and paper towels.

Basic Rental Rules
• No public and/or ticketed events.
• No smoking, chewing gums, glitter or confetti.
• No open flames or candles.
• Post-event cleaning is required.
• Renter is solely responsible for all behavior of event
attendees and any incidents/accidents that may occur.
It is recommended that the renter secure an Event Policy
with their insurance provider.
• You must follow decoration guidelines.
• Damage to the building may result in a forfeiture of
your deposit and/or additional charges.
• This is not a comprehensive list of rules. You must follow
all guidelines and rules listed in the rental agreement.

Deposit is due when the contract is signed. Rental fee is due 3 weeks prior to event date.
CASH, CHECK & CREDIT CARD ACCEPTED. NO PAYMENT APPS ACCEPTED.
(A non-refundable processing fee is charged for credit cards. Make checks out to Bedford County Arts Council.)
