In 2025, The Fly Arts Center will host a series of dances featuring live music from local musicians.

The new "Live Music & Dancing at The Fly" series will kick-off with a performance from The Chase Clanton Band on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The Fly Arts Center's main room (McGrew Hall) will be setup with large round tables and a designated area for dancing. Their concession stand will offer a variety of snacks, as well as cocktails and beer to those aged 21 and over.
Proceeds from this event and others in the series will benefit The Fly Arts Center/the Bedford County Arts Council. Tickets can be purchased online at FlyArtsCenter.com for $10 per person. Parties of 6 or more may reserve a table when they purchase tickets in advance.
"We've gotten a lot of feedback from area residents, and many said they want to see the return of dances to The Fly," beamed Jennifer Dawn Smith, Vice President of The Fly. "Plus, the new series is a great way to help support local area musicians. We have so many talented musical artists from Bedford County. These events are a great way for area residents to connect with local musicians, while also supporting The Fly Arts Center."
