October 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th
5pm to 8pm
THIS CLASS IS FULL
At each class all supplies will be provided (you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer). The first class will cover color theory and value study, then we will start painting. For this class each participant can choose the subject they wish to paint and the size (up to 16x20). We will work from a photo (make sure to choose a high resolution photo to work from). It is preferable that the photo is one taken by the participant.
This class is perfect for a beginner wanting to take their time to work through a painting from start to finish while learning tools and techniques that can be applied to subsequent works. This class is also perfect for any skill level artist wanting to work on a more complex painting over a few sessions. This format will allow wet on wet techniques as well as getting to work in layers.

You can attend as many or as few sessions as you would like but its crucial to attend the first session.
